About A & O City Hostel and Hotel Munich
Centrally located, just 15 minutes walking distance to the famous Oktoberfest and just one station to Munich’s main station the A&O HOSTEL Munich is the perfect starting point for activities in the city area of munich or surroundings. In the neighbourhood of the A&O HOSTEL Munich are various restaurants and typical/traditional beer gardens.
The hostel mainly offers multi bedded rooms. All functional hostel rooms are equipped with private facilities, bath tub and cable TV. The hostel rooms are for groups, school classes, families and any budget traveller a perfect accomodation for a low price.
The hostel has 2 bars and a disco. Have a cocktail, a draught beer or a small snack in the Mountain View Bar on the roof-deck or the Lobby Bar and enjoy the casual entertainment programm. Things To Do
Theresienwiese, site of the famous Oktoberfest is less than 1 kilometre away. the 99-metre high towers of the gothic Frauenkirche are 1300 metres from the hostel, and Munich`s beautiful Englischer Garten, a park larger than New York`s central park, is two kilometres away.

Leave the A8 at the exit „München-Obermenzing“, turn right into Verdistrasse (renamed later: Amalienbergstr., Menzingerstr., Notburgastr., Arnulfstr.) Arnulfstrasse.
From Berlin, Leipzig, Nuremburg, Regensburg, Landshut / Munich-Airport (A9/ A92)
From intersection Neufahrn
Leave the A9 at the exit 76 “München-Schwabing“, follow the B2r, turn right into the Schenkendorfstr., follow the Petueltunnel / Petuelring, (renamed later: Goerg-Brauchle-Ring), left into the Landshuter Allee, right across the Donnersbergerbrücke and finally right into the Arnulfstrasse.
From Salzburg (Austria) from intersection Munich-South (A8)
Leave the A995 at the end heading towards Tegernseer Landstrasse. Straight ahead on the Martin-Luther-Strasse, Giesinger Berg, Humboldt-Strasse, Wittelsbacherbrücke, Baldeplatz, Kapuzinerstrasse, Lindwurmstrasse, Herzog-Heinrich, Strasse , Paul-Heyse-Strasse, Paul-Heyse-Unterführung. Next turning is Arnulfstrasse.
From Garmisch-Patenkirchen fromm erging point Starnberg (A95)
Leave the A95 at the end and turn left on to the Luise-Kiesselbach-Platz. Straight ahead on the Garmischer Strasse, Trappentreustrasse., Donnersberger Brücke, left into Arnulfstrasse.
By train…
Station München-Hauptbahnhof DB (Munich-Central). 1 Station with the S-Bahnen S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7 und S27 to „Hackerbrücke“. Right into Grasserstrasse and the first crossing left into Arnulfstrasse.
By plane…
Take the S-Bahn S1 oder S8 to station „Hackerbrücke“.Right into Grasserstrasse and the first crossing left into Arnulfstrasse.
Terms & Conditions
CHECK IN 3 p.m.
Reserved rooms shall be available for occupancy from 3 p.m. on the agreed day of the client’s arrival. The client shall not be entitled to occupy the room(s) earlier than this.
CHECK OUT 10 a.m.
On the agreed day of departure the client must vacate the room by 10 a.m. at the latest. If the client does not vacate the room by that time we shall be entitled to charge 50% of the full room rate as published in the price list until 6 p.m. for reason of non-contractual occupation, and if the client vacates the room after 6 p.m. 100% of the full room rate will be charged. This shall not constitute any contractual claims on the part of the client.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
- Until two days prior to arrival till 6 o’clock pm (local time hotel/hostel) free of charge. In case of cancellation afterwards a cancellation fee of 100% of the first night will be charged. In case of non-arrival 100% of booking costs will be charged. It’s the same for short-term bookings, within two days before arrival.
- Any discounts or special offers booked through online booking engines are non-cancelable.
