Ever striving to excel, the Backpacker has rooms with themes like `Garden of Eden` and `Under the Sea`, but the fact that you may end up sleeping with a giant `spider` on your ceiling doesn´t make up for the fact that most of your fellow hostel guests will be exhausted, city-a-day world travelers. The staff provides information on nightlife, travel and sight-seeing. Sheets 2,50 €, laundry 5,- € per load. Bikes 15,-€ per day. Internet access. Kitchen available for guest use; hostel guests also get a 10% discount at the restaurant nearby. A thorought walking tour leaves the hostel daily at 10.10 am. No curfew. Reception 24 hours.

How To Get There

The Way from Zoo-Station to Mitte`s backpacker hostel: 1. When you arrive at the Zoo-Station go downstairs. * 2. Then turn to the S-Bahn on track 5. * 3. You can take every train on track 5 (S3-Erkner, S5-Straussberg Nord, S7-Ahrensfelde). * 4. After 4 stops you get off at Friedrichstrasse and turn to the U-Bahn (downstairs). * 5. Take the U6 direction Alt-Tegel. * 6. After 2 stops get off the train and exit the `Zinnowitzer Str.` station same direction train goes (Habersaatstrasse). * 7. Keep walking 100 meters at the left side and you are here... The Way from Tegel to Mitte`s backpacker hostel: 1. Take the Bus 128 to Kurt Schumacher Platz. * 2. Change to U6 direction Alt-Mariendorf to Zinnowitzer Strasse. * 3. After 8 stops get off and exit the station opposite direction train goes. * 4. Keep walking 100m on left side and you are here...
