CIRCULAR QUAY - THE OPERA HOUSE AND THE BRIDGE

www.visitedplanet.com

Most people beeline straight for the world famous Sydney Harbour and why not? It's something you need to tick off right?! For something really amazing consider doing the Bridge Climb for some spectacular views. It's also worth strolling around the reaches of Circular Quay down to the Opera House for great views back to the bridge and of the beautiful blue waters of the harbour. It's not that expensive to take in a show at the Opera House if you feel inclined!

We offer cruises of the harbour here, and also scenic flights!

FERRY TO MANLY

www.visitedplanet.comWhile you're in Circular Quay consider jumping a ferry into the harbour. A trip we love is the one across past the heads to Manly - one of Sydney's superb beaches. Go over for lunch and spend the afternoon.

THE ECLECTIC MARKETS

www.visitedplanet.comSydney has some fantastic markets - most are held on weekends. See a full guide here. The Paddington markets are a great choice closer to the city for food, arts, crafts and live music. Bondi also has its own markets if you're staying in that part of the city. Then there's the famous Paddy's market for all kinds of bric-a-brac, the Chinatown night market and of course the wonderful arts and crafts at The Rocks.

EAT YOUR HEART OUT IN NEWTOWN

There are amazing places to eat across Sydney but Newtown is a winner with most people. We love the choice of ethnic food from Lebanese to Asian. There's something here for everyone. There are a lot of great second hand shops in this area too for some fun browsing or purchases.
