About Gemini Studios in Florence

Check-in and check-out MUST be made at the Alamanni`s Hotel reception (Via Luigi Alamanni 35 – ONLY one block away from the Residence).

The Apartments/studio are all one bedroom OPEN SPACE, with different square metre differences from each other. They are all modern equipped and refurbished with a kitchenette suitable for simple cooking. There's an electric oven, refrigerator, dish washer, coffee and tea maker, dining table and chairs, colour TV with digital cable, toaster, self control panel for both air conditioning or heating, private bathroom w/shower, hair-dryer, ironing board available. NO TELEPHONE AND INTERNET CONNECTION IN THE STUDIOS.

Some studios are equipped with regular beds, some with double sofa beds. All bedding requests cannot be promised and/or guaranteed. Extra bed(s) are provided ONLY for the number of persons declared on the booking form. All studios have bed and bath linen.

The confirmed rates on the studio booking include water and electrical consumptions, air conditioning or heating, one weekly linen change and final cleaning, extra fee for additional linen change Eur 5,00 per person(s).

Full prepayment of stay and caution deposit of Eur 50,00 must be given at CHECK-IN, the reimbursement of the deposit is subject to the conditions of release of the apartment. Any damages caused will be with held from the deposit and if they are of greater value, an extra charge will be demanded on credit card.

After arrival no cancellation and/or modification to the booking are accepted, the penalty is the full amount. Cancellation and/or modification are accepted until 14 days before the arrival date, less than 14 days prior to the arrival date a penalty of 50% applies of the total booking. If the cancellation is made within 24 hours the penalty is 100% of the booking.

Car parking is available below the hotel’s garage for 20 EURO per day (book at the time of reservation). The buffet breakfast served at Hotel Alamanni is from 7:30am-11:00am, EUR 7,00 per person unlimited food and drinks. Check-in time from 3:00pm. Latest check-out time is 11:00am. ONLY registered person(s) are allowed to enter the studio, visitor(s) are allowed after permission from staff at the Hotel Alamanni reception.

Things To Do

Florence is one of the most ancient cities in Italy. One of the most famous attractions in Florence is the Uffizi and Academy Galleries. In the Academy is where you can see the real DAVID of Michelangelo. You can also visit the Duomo with Giotto’s bell tower, Ponte Vecchio (oldest jewellery in Europe), Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens with the royal apartment of Queen Medici, San Lorenzo church with the Medici Chapel and the open street markets. Walking up and down in Florence you’ll feel you have stepped back 500 years.

Piazzale Michelangelo should be visited to finish your photo book with the most gorgeus view of Florence.

From Florence you can easly reach and visit all the following cities: Pisa / Siena / San Gimignano / Volterra / Lucca / and don’t forget to take a trip around the wineries of Chianti and taste the best wines in the world like Brunello di Montalcino and Vintage Chianti.

How To get There

Before you go to the studios you must register and collet the key at the reception of the hotel Hlamanni, (Via Luigi Alamanni 35, 2nd floor) which is one block away.

To reach the hotel from the railway station of Santa Maria Novella: take the station’s right hand exit and turn right down the stairs, keep walking on the pedestrian street next to the station wall for 100 metres, we are after the shops, above the "Imperial shop".

By car: from motorways, exit Firenze SIGNA and follow street signs “Firenze centro” and “SMNovella Stazione”. Once you`re arrived at Porta al Prato go straight on Viale Fratelli Rosselli, after the hotel "Villa Azalee" turn right onto via Jacopo da Diacceto. After Hotel Londra turn left and we are 50 metres on the left.

From Florence airport – A. Vespucci: 10 minutes by taxi (15-20 EURO) or by the bus shuttle which links the airport to the railway station. The hotel is 100m from the railway station. Distance about 5km.
