About Oasis Backpackers` Hotel Sevilla
Welcome to the Oasis Backpackers’ Hostel Sevilla
Seville has all the things Madrid and Barcelona have been trying to leave behind for decades – siestas, bullfights, machismo, tapas, flamenco – and it is incredibly sexy and beautiful for it. A city where people are united by tapas and divided by football and where the ghosts of Spain walk the streets be they fictional, like Don Juan and Carmen or historical, like Cervantes and Columbus.
Winding your way through the narrow streets gives you the feeling of being in a completely different universe. The crowds are welcoming and friendly, and the bullfighting, a religion. Being in Seville will leave you feeling in-love and content.
Somewhere between the world`s third largest cathedral and what was once the tallest building in the world, Giralda, lies your Oasis Backpackers Hostel, located smack in the cultural and historic heart of Sevilla. Whether you want to head out to the Alcazar, Casa de Pilatos, Archive of the Indies (where the historical records of the American continent are kept) or wander through the mass of palaces and parks, you are just minutes walk from everywhere you want to be.
If you want to take a break from the road and bask in the warm Andulacian sun you can relax on our rooftop terrace, which overlooks historic Sevilla. If staying in isn`t your thing head out to Alfalfa, famous for its afterhours activity, which is within stumbling distance.
Our staff are well versed in the art of travelling and will help you fall in love with the city. Whether you are searching for the best tapas bars, the duende of Flamenco, or just want to use our windows to peer out onto the Semana Santa Procession, we can help.
With never ending hot water, high pressured showers, 9 inches of mattress heaven, clean dorms, cooking facilities, roof top terrace, open-air lounge and laundry service (we even fold your clothes) we`ll take care of you. Whatever you’re looking for while travelling, Oasis Sevilla is bound to tickle the taste buds of backpackers on the hunt for something new.
We also keep you connected with free and incredibly fast ADSL internet, Wi-Fi access, Phone cards and available phone for keeping in contact with the family.
WHAT’S FREE: Breakfast, 24 hour ADSL Internet access, Coffee & Tea, Wi-Fi connection, really amazing views of the city from our roof-top terrace and from our kitchen and even our pool, travel information desk, tapas tour, sheets, loads of ambience and general good cheer.

How To get There
ADDRESS: Oasis Backpackers Hostel Sevilla, Plaza Encarnación 29 1/2, Seville, Spain
DIRECTIONS: The hostel is located in the exact center of the city, so is possible to walk everywhere within 15 to 20 minutes, the only thing that you do need is a map as the streets get really messy, your main reference point is Plaza Encarnacion where we are at no. 29 1/2, just opposite the church. Welcome!
From bus station San Sebastian: Walk down Calle San Fernando (where the main university is) and at the end of San Fernando take a right down Calle Constitucion (where main tourist office is located) until you reach Plaza Nueva. (It is a huge Plaza with a monument of a horse in the centre - you can’t miss it.) Cross the plaza and take the street (Calle Granada) on the left side of the big government building. Shortly you find a Tourism Office on your left. Stop and collect information if you wish. Then take the street behind the Tourist Office (Calle Sierpes) to your left. Walk until the end of Calle Sierpes and take a right on to Calle Martin Villa/ Laraña, then walk for 2 minutes until you reach Plaza Encarnación which is on your right. Walk to the right hand corner of the Plaza and we are at no. 29 1/2. Welcome!
From the train station Santa Justa: In the train station, take the esculator up to the center of the station. Exit throught the doors marked B or C. Walk along the front of the station past the taxis, to the bus stops. There take Bus No. 32 to Plaza Encarnacion. Now we are only 10 meters away at no. 29 1/2, just opposite the church. Welcome!
From Bus Station Plaza de Armas by bus: Exit the station and to the left you will see a taxi rank and in front of it a Bus Stop. Take Bus No. B2 to Plaza Encarnacion, Now we are only 10 meters away at no. 29 1/2, just opposite the church. Welcome!
The bus route is very indirect and takes a long time, so if you prefer, take a taxi from the stand to Plaza Encarnacion for about 7 Euros. Or if your bag isn’t too heavy, it is a direct 15 minute walk: Just exit the station and cross at the traffic lights. At the other side of the road turn left and walk until you get to a big open plaza. Cross the plaza and take the street on the left of the NH hotel building, named Alfonso XII. Follow this street straight for about 10 minutes and you can’t go wrong. You will arrive to Plaza Encarnacion, go right, next to the church at no. 29 1/2, that is where we are. Welcome!
From the Airport: There is just one bus that takes to the city. Get off at the train station stop and walk back 30 meters in the direction from which you came to the stop of bus No.32. Then follow the directions above ‘from Santa Justa train station’. A taxi to Plaza Encarnation will cost 20 euros, plus an extra charge for luggage.
