About Majestic Tourist Hotel

The Majestic Tourist Hotel is located in a clean area within the Kandy city limits, overlooking beautiful mountains and rainforest. We are one kilometer out of Kandy city Centre.

There are 14 double rooms on the first and second floor of the building. The resaurant is located on the third floor and the fourth floor has an open area for sitting and looking at the beautiful lake and mountains.

All the rooms have attached bathroom, hot and cold water, and tiled floors. Some also have balconies and air conditioners (a/c will be charged additional).

The Hotel has been newly built especially for foreign tourists. We are approved as “A” grade by the Sri Lanka Tourist Board. We are also within walking distance to the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy Town, Kandyan dancing Hall, Traditional Ayurvada & Herbal treatments Centre, etc….

Things To Do

Kandy the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. There is a nice lake and beautiful mountains, Tea Factory, Tea Museum, Sri Lanka Gem Museum & Jewellery, Traditional Ayurvada, Triangle Temple, The Temple of the Tooth, Kandy Culture Dancing hall, Botanical Garden, Uda watta Kale (Forest) etc..

How To get There

We are one km from Kandy city at the end of the Kandy Lake in Ampitiya Road. We can pick you up within 15 mins from Kandy city if you phone us.
