Are you "green minded"? So are we!! At Mellow Eco-Hostel we understand how important is to reduce our environmental impacts and we have decided to take the challenge. We have already started taking measures to be as helpful as possible:
At Mellow Eco-Hostel we use renewal energy. Water of your shower is heated by our solar panels at the roof terrace.
Recycling facilities.
Biodegradable cleaning products.
Soap dispensers.
Draught tap water.
Low consumption bulbs.
Air conditioned is only in the common area. The rest of the house was built with the ideal orientation to facilitate natural ventilation.
We are located in a traditional neighbourhood surrounded by green areas fleeing from the city centre pollution and crowds but only at 15 minutes by tube. From our terrace you will be able to contemplate the best panoramic sights of the city from a different point of view.
Everybody´s single gesture to keep natural resources can make a huge difference, staying with us you will already do your bit.
Together we will discover the small concealed mysteries of Gaudí's Barcelona, the Cathedral of the Seafarers, the hypnotizing delights of the sunny squares, our colorful markets and, above all, the charm of a bohemian city, where culture and entertainment go hand in hand. When the sun goes down, turn the fully equiped kitchen into your favourite corner and become delighted with a fantastic dinner, sipped with a typical regional wine. And if you manage to overcome your fatigue, put your feet up in our roof top terrace, embellish in one of our classic novels in our small library, or relax in our great common area.

How To get There
FROM BARCELONA SANTS STATION: Get on Metro line 5 (CORNELLÀ CENTRE / HORTA) towards HORTA. Get off at (MARAGALL). Part of the route is quite steep so we advise you take bus number 39 which stops very near, at Aguilar / Garriga i Roca. We are near the Ronda de Dalt (Upper Beltway) in Barcelona (Autovía B-20), just off exit 4 (HORTA).
BY TAXI: If you come by taxi, you might arrive on the Ronda de Dalt, or you might arrive by means of Passeig de Maragall. Normally the trip from the airport will cost you around 30 Euros at normal arrival hours.

2 months in advance: 100% refund
2 months to 15 days in advance: 50% refund
15 days to 48 hours in advance: 25% refund
If the cancellation is made with less than 48 hours in advance there will be NO refund. WE CHARGE LODGING IN ADVANCE
