About Manly Cottage Inn

Only a short boat trip from the big city and you are in the laid back little surf town of Manly. Manly is one of the most visited places in Sydney among backpackers for years and for good reason, it is the ultimate city escape with its beautiful beaches, amazing shopping and nightlife. It provides all the atmosphere, markets, restaurants, bars and entertainment that a traveller needs. The Manly Cottage Inn is a 30 bed backpacker’s hostel, comprising of 5 dorms and 1 twin room. The rooms are spacious and lockers are provided. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans, and heaters and blankets are provided for those chillier nights.

How To Get There

If arriving from the airport you can catch a taxi (approx. $60), take a shuttle bus (book on 0500 505 800, approx. $30) or alternatively use public transport: from International / Domestic terminal take the train to Circular Quay (approx. $12) and then the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Wharf ($6). The Cottage Inn is a 10 minute walk from Manly Wharf. From the ferry walk straight up the road in front of you, Belgrave street (which runs into Pittwater Road), past the tennis courts, cross over Raglan Street and it’s just up on your left.
