About Hiking Sheep - Aubergerie

Located in a beautiful 19th century heritage house, the Hiking Sheep overlooks the town of Leysin. In a quiet and natural setting, the Hostel has a magnificent and panoramic view of the Mt. Blanc mountain range. Starting point for numerous hikes. Easy access: 150m from the Leysin Grand Hotel train station, free parking, bus stop nearby (free during peak season). You will feel at home in the friendly and relaxing atmosphere of the Hiking Sheep. In both summer and winter, many exiting activities await you.

Things To Do

The Revolving Restaurant on top of "La Berneuse” offers a very nice view. You can reach it with the gondol or on foot (1hr30min). It is also the starting point for paragliding and a skiing area in winter time.

Medical plant garden and deer park on the bottom of the village.

Plenty of hiking and biking trails and other sport activities. Swimming pool and ice rink in both winter and summer season.

How To get There

By train: Get out at the very last train station called “Leysin Grand Hotel then follows the road on the left for 100 m and go down a small trail for 50m.

By car: Follow the main road until you reach the top of the village. Then follow the red signal “American College” until you see the sign for the Hiking Sheep.
