About International Inn - Liverpool

The International Inn is an award winning 3 star hostel in the hub of Liverpool City Centre`s cultural quarter. Developed within a former Victorian warehouse the hostel is cosmopolitan and has tremendous character, coupled with the latest facilities.

There is accommodation for up to 100 people in dorms for 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10 and facilities include TV lounge/games room, laundry, baggage store, full heating, Internet access and information desk with details of all local attractions. Clean bedding is provided and there is no curfew. The hostel is open throughout the year and there is a presence on site 24 hours a day. Individual backpackers and groups are equally welcome. The hostel is literally in the heart of the city and less than a stones throw away you will find theatres, the city`s two Cathedrals, the Philharmonic Hall, not to mention the city`s bustling bar and club scene.

Our friendly staff will be able to point you in the direction of all the city`s attractions and give advice on the best places to go. The hostel is also ideally suited for the city`s universities, being opposite the student union.

Private fully furnished apartments now also available. Each private apartment has its own open plan fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and complete utensils for cooking, with a breakfast bar for eating. There is also a lounge area where you can watch DVDs or digital television from the comfort of your leather sofa. The bathrooms all have electric shower, toilet and washbasin. Bedrooms have either double or twin beds with full linen included.

In 2008 we will be opening a new Pod Hotel - details coming soon.

Prices are from £15 per person, per night in a dorm, and £36 for a twin room. Apartments from £65 per apartment per night.

Things To Do

As we are located in the city centre we are within walking distance of all city centre attractions. The city is famous for its vibrant nightlife and music scene, varied shopping, and sporting interests from Liverpool and Everton FC to the Grand Nation horse race. The Beatles museum and Beatles tours are on our doorstep as are the other free National Museums and Galleries in Liverpool including the Tate. We are a stone’s throw from the two incredible cathedrals, theatres, restaurants and galleries. The city is also known for its fabulous architecture and fine buildings such as St Georges Hall, Albert Dock and the famous waterfront buildings.

How To get There

From Lime Street Railway Station: · Exit the Lime Street Railway Station from the side entrance onto Skelhorne St. · Turn left and walk up the hill, continuing up Copperas Hill. · At the main road T-junction turn right onto Russell Street. · Continue along the road as it runs into Clarence Street and then Rodney Street. · At the junction of Hardman Street (HSBC Bank on corner) turn left and walk along until the second road on the left which is South Hunter Street. · The International Inn is 20 yards on the right.
