You may spend your time sipping homemade limoncello among the olives and fruits in our quiet garden or in the Colella family`s private vineyard. A full bar is always available as is a widescreen TV and lounge perfect for those can`t miss fotball matches. Private parking is available for those with cars, otherwise rides in the hotel`s minibus may be arranged. Poggio del Sole and the Colella family can also provide you with other services such as mopeds, cars, and bike rentals for reduced rates. Poggio Del Sole is located in Forio, the second largest town on the island, and is situated atop two of the island most spectacular beaches, Punto Caruso and Punto Impertore and below the extraordinary Mt. Eponemo allowing astonishing views and unparralled sunsets. Because the hotel is centrally located, you will find many activities: sight-seeing, monuments, shopping, scooter/bike/car rentals, sunbathing, swimming, spas and much more right outside your door.

How To get There

The Island of Ischia is connected to the mainland with ferries and fast boats. They start every hour from Molo Beverello, the main port of Naples. From there you can reach the three ports of the island (Ischia, Casamicciola, and Forio). The first ferries in the morning are at 6:00am and the last is at 10:00pm. Arriving by plane to Napoli Capadichino, you need reach Molo Beverello (Line Lauro e Caremar) or Mergellina (Line Lauro e Snav) by taxi of bus. Arriving by train from the station there are taxis or buses direct to the port 2km away.
