About Ring Hostel

We offer private rooms for 1 to 4 people with or without an ensuite bathroom as well as dorm rooms for 4, 6, and 8 people with or without ensuite bathrooms as well. We have a wide selection of rooms, so please, choose what best suits you.

Huge common area with a fully equiped kitchen, TVSat, Internet access, DVD player and a bar. Bar crawls and hotspring parties are available too.

We also have a beautiful hotel at your disposal. The hotel has a restaurant, fully stocked bar, and a pool with an amazing ocean view for you to enjoy whenever you like. As this is an independent youth hostel there is no age limit, internet facilities, swimming pool access, no curfew.

The staff of Ring Hostel speak English and German. Bed linen, towels, delphe, cutlery, TV, washing machine, internet, lockers, kitchen, big common terrace and roof garden, TV room with English DVD library.

Things To Do

The most beautiful and biggest island in the Gulf of Naples, Ischia is one of the most famous seaside and touristic spa centres of Italy and the world, it is also famous for its unequalled natural beauty, for its mild climate, termal waters, modern tourist facilities and hotels and lastly for its "wine".

On the island the viticulture has origins that go back milleniums. The cultivation technique, is like the Greek traditional one, in fact it is different from that used in the middle of Italy and in the rest of the Campania province.

However, the natural beauty of Ischia does not finish there. Everything from the sea to the mountain - including its harbours, the small bays, its convenient beaches and ports, the high rockface along the coast, the vegetation, the variety of plant life, the pine trees and the myriads of multi-coloured flowers - make Ischia one of the most beautiful islands of one of the most beautiful countries in the world. When you`re there you`ll feel what others (Luchino Visconti, Pierpaolo Pasolini, Sir William Waltn, Eduardo De Filippo, Liz Taylor and Richard Burton, Elsa Morante, ALberto Moravia, Renato Guttuso, Auden, Pablo Neruda, Pietro Nenni and the jet-setting Jackelin Kennedy-Aristotele-Onnassis) felt to make this island their second home.

How To get There

There are two ports on the island, Ishia porto and Forio porto, Ring Hostel is located in Forio.

From Ischia Porto - Get off the ferry and go to the bus station, it is about 100 meters. Take the #1 or #2 or the CS bus to Forio. Get off at bus stop number 55 (you will see the port of FOrio on your right). Look across the street for the Captain Morgan Biglietteria (where they sell tickets for another ferry) - Take directions from Forio Porto.

From Forio Porto - Get off the ferry and go left on the road shortly until you see the Captain Bigletteria on your right. Take the road immediately to the left of (or behind) the biglietteria stand and head uphill (50 meters). As you take the road up on your left you will see a shopping street. Take this street, cross the road, and head uphill until the curves a sharp right (200 meters) STOP - you will see a small store names Bollicine directly infront of you. Don`t follow the road right, but take the small alleyway to your left (Via Gaetano Morgera Cierco). This road will wind back and forth for about 300 meters and finally take you to a square where the hostel is located. Before you get to the square where the hostel is, you will find another small square with a small parking lot on the left - ignore it - and continue straight following the road. When you arrive at the second square, directly on your left you will see the hostel. It has double green doors at the entrance and the cornerstone is marked 1828.
