About Chal-Tun-Ha Lodge

The lodge provides hot water showers and clean, comfortable bathroom services. Guests can dine on local cuisine while enjoying the magnificent view of La Isla de Flores. Chal Tun Ha was designed for people who enjoy the outdoors and take pleasure in rural lodgings in a secluded atmosphere. Comfortable beds with clean linens, pillows, towels and blankets will assure a good night’s rest after a fun filled adventurous day.

Things To Do

In San Miguel all our attractions can be visited by horseback, hike, mountain bike, boat or canoe. There is the zoo, Arcas (a program to rehabilitate animals to go back in the wild), Petencito (best beach in the area) and Tayazal archaeological site. You can also visit Tikal, Yasha and El Mirador.

How To get There

Guests can arrive in Flores Peten by either bus or plane. Chal Tun Ha has an internet café known as UKA Café on the island of Flores. This is our pickup point for walk in guests. If guests make a reservation we pick them up at any of our local bus terminals or the airport. We then shuttle our guests on our boat to San Miguel a five minute ride, followed by a final shuttle to the lodge. Everything takes about fifteen minutes. Our boat runs every day.

Terms & Conditions

All guests most pay all bills and obey shuttle times for boat and bus. Do not destroy any of Chal Tun Ha lodge property.
