About Asante Caravans and Camping

Our self catering haven is located in the bush and we have tried to make it as comfortable as possible for our guests. We have six self catering caravans and we supply bedding and towels and there is max four people to a bathroom. It is small, personal and special! We also have camping!!!

We have loads of animals, horses, geese, goats, chickens, ducks and even a tame bull named Billy. It is nice for children as we have swings, and the animals. If you want to relax just find one of the hammocks and enjoy a sunset.

Things To Do

Abseiling, beach walks, bird watching, canoeing, craft markets, game drives, cycling, dolphin view point, fishing, hiking trails, horse riding, kloofing, Oudtshoorn day tours, paraglifing, pied kingfisher boardwalk, the big tree, the Map of Africa view point, whale watching wilderness day tours, walks to waterfalls.

How To get There

When you drive into Wilderness Village, follow the road to the T-junction and turn left. Drive approx. three km to the top of the hill. Turn left at Erica Rd (dirtroad). When the road splits keep left. First left is No 342 Asante.
