How To get There

The address of Amstel House is: Waldenserstrasse 31 in Berlin Tiergarten. The next U Bahn Station is: Turmstrasse (U9)

TRAIN: Main station Hauptbahnhof: use exit “Europaplatz”, cross Invalidenstr., you can´t miss the bus stop. Get on the bus Bus “TXL” in the direction Tegel Airport for two stops. Get off at U-Bhf. Turmstr. You are in front of “Hertie” department store. Walk in the same direction as the bus is going on Turmstr. for three blocks. Turn right into Bremerstr. for one block and turn left into Waldenserstr. The hostel will be on your left in approximately 100m. You have reached Amstel House Hostel Berlin (walking distance from bus stop: four mins).

If arrival at station Ostbahnhof: take S-Bahn Line S-7 or S-9 direction Grunewald/ Wannsee and get off at the station Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten, take Underground U-Bahn line U9 in direction Osloer Str. for two stops and get off at station U-Bahnhof Turmstr. Use the exit near top/head of the train. You´ll find “Hertie” department store on your left. Turn right and follow Turmstr. for three blocks. Turn right into Bremerstr. for one block and turn left into Waldenserstr. Look out for no. 31 after 100 metres. The hostel will be on your left in approximately 100m (walking distance from underground station: four mins).

If arrival at Station Zoologischer Garten (Zoo-Station): take Underground U-Bahn Line 9 in direction Osloer Str. for two stops and get off at station U-Bahnhof Turmstr. Use exit at top/ head of the train. You´ll find “Hertie” department store on your left. Turn right and follow Turmstr. for three blocks. Turn right into Bremerstr. for 1 block and turn left into Waldenserstr. The hostel will be on your left in approximately 100m. You have reached Amstel House Hostel Berlin (walking distance from underground station: four mins).

PLANE: Airport Tegel(TXL): Take Bus 'TXL' for five stops to get off at station U-Bhf. Turmstr. You are right in front of the underground entrance on Alt-Moabit-Str. Go in opposite direction to the bus until next intersection. Cross Alt-Moabit-Str and walk straight towards the big church. Pass the church and cross Turmstr. Go straight on into Jonasstr. Take the next left into Arminiusstr. Turn right the next street, you are on Bremer Str. now. Turn left into Waldenserstr. after one block. The hostel will be on your left in approximately 100m. You have reached Amstel House Hostel Berlin (walking distance from bus stop: five mins).

Airport Schönefeld(SXF): Take Airport Shuttle until S-Bhf. Flughafen Schönefeld change into S-Bahn Line S-9 direction Grunewald, get off at the station Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten and take Underground U-Bahn line U9 in direction Osloer Str. for two stops and get off at station U-Bahnhof Turmstr. Use exit near top/head of the train. You´ll find “Hertie” department store on your left. Turn right and follow Turmstr. for three blocks. Turn right into Bremerstr. for one block and turn left into Waldenserstr. Look after no. 31 after 100 metres. BERLIN BUS TERMINAL (ZOB): Follow the signs to Underground station Kaiserdamm (walking distance: three mins). Get on Underground U-Bahn Line U2 in direction Pankow for five stops, get off at station Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten (Zoo Station) and change to Underground U-Bahn Line U9 in direction Osloer Str. for two stops to get off at station U-Bahnhof Turmstr. Use exit near top/ head of the train. You´ll find “Hertie” department store on your left. Turn right and follow Turmstr. for three blocks. Turn right into Bremerstr. for one block and turn left into Waldenserstr. Look after no. 31 after 100 metres. The hostel will be on your left in approximately 100m (walking distance from underground station: four mins).

Terms & Conditions

Cancellations must be done a minimum of 48hrs before planned arrival by e-mail to info@amstelhouse.de. Otherwise we´ll charge the first night total. If you want to extend your stay the rack rates of the hostel will become due.
