About base BACKPACKERS Sydney

We have all the facilities you need - an internet cafe, full travel desk, a great bar, laundry, public phones and more... It is less than two minutes walk to the supermarkets, convenience stores, banks and the post office. Our on site cafe provides inexpensive continental breakfast, with a ion of breads, cereals, natural yoghurt and more! Trains to the city suburbs and beyond leave from right outside the door.

FREE TRANSFERS from the airport are available for guests staying three nights or more. All rooms have security card access keys.

We are committed to being the cleanest hostel in Sydney. All dorms are cleaned daily and bathrooms are cleaned daily with all beds made with fresh linen. All beds have their own lockable luggage locker and safe`s are available to hire.

Things To Do

We are a two minute walk from famous Darling Harbour, home to Sydney`s best cafe`s, bars, and the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Transport to Bondi Beach, the SCG and Telstra Stadium is just across the street at Town Hall Station with the historic Rocks precinct, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House just at the end of the street.

How To get There

Base is situated in the heart of Sydney, opposite Town Hall Station at 477 Kent Street. From the airport jump on a Super Shuttle Bus, if you are staying three nights or more just tell the driver and the ride is on us!
