About Rambutan Guesthouse

>From the bus station take bus 3 or 33 to the cathedral stop, then walk to plaza nueva. >From the train station take either bus 3, 8, 10, 11, 33 to the cathedral stop and walk to plaza nueva. · If you wish to take the mini bus from Plaza Nueva to the Rambutan, take bus 31 at the stop located directly across from Plaza Nueva. Take the bus until it begins to head uphill then press the stop button and get off at the first stop on the hill. You should be on the corner of Sacromonte and Chapiz and continue with the directions by foot. · If you wish to go by foot walk past plaza Nueva along the river (Camino del Darro), you will continue to the end of the road where it will then take a sharp left turn uphill (Cuesta de Chapiz.) When you reach the first street on you right (Camino de Sacromonte), you will be on the corner of Sacromonte and Chapiz (there is a public phone located on your left if you have any problems). From the corner turn in right and proceed up Sacromonte. On your left you will soon find a bar (el CABILDO) next to a set of stairs. Walk up the stairs and go right (there is cactus on your left). Then go up left (there is still cactus on your left). Finally go left (there should be cactus below you on the left). Stop, take a deep breath and enjoy the rewarding view we are right behind you, Rambutan is number 28.

Things To Do

· Like all destinations we offer all the normal amenities(internet, laundry, kitchens, we show movies, breakfast, dinner, tea, coffee, bbq, hotshowers, beer, wine, etc,etc, but is this really enough? · It`s safe to say that we offer a variety of different services and activities depending on the group and the group dynamic. Francois invites people up for sunset views, Rob organizes communal dinners with shared cost between everyone, Suniva coordinates reggae, hip hop nights, Linda gives us an eye into the flamenco nightlife, we also put on Live concerts of Jazz, flamenco, funk, etc, Monthly chef(presently appearing Krystal,) Rambutan`s traditional Mexican smorgasborg banaza, fresh pasta nights, sushi nights, Unesco, Winter hockey organized by and for the Canadians, paragliding with alex in the summer, poker night managed by the house, Spanish lessons with the enchanting neighbor shelia, weekly basketball and football games, beach trips, alpujarra trips, the best hostel library in Europe hands down, and whatever you want to do · ...oh yes, we have a pingpong table as well
