Reef Safari - Dive School. Learn to dive with the best instructors in Australia. Then go off and enjoy some of the best diving Australia has to offer further.

Catch the Red Base bus for a group Island tour. See the Croc in Picnic bay, feed the rock wallabies in Geoffrey bay and much much more....

Take the Scooters for your own Island tour. See the Koala`s Rock Wallabies and much much more.

Enjoy the ocean at your fingertips. Ask the staff about our exciting Sea Kayaks.

If travelling under your own steam hire a push bike. It will let you get to areas others can`t reach.

If water sports are your passion ask about the Jet Ski`s - Sea Scooters and other options.

How To get There

As you are on the ferry coming across to Magnetic Island look left. You will see the picturesque resort in its own little part of Paradise!!!

PASSENGER FERRY: The ferry leaves from Townsville about 12 times a day. This trip costs $25 return. When you get to the island, jump on the Maggie Island Bus for just $1 they will you off right outside Base. NB: Make a booking :)

CAR FERRY: The car ferry is only a two minute drive from the base Townsville. This trip will cost around $131 per car return, depending on the size and weight. When you arrive at Nelly Bay Harbour turn left, past the supermarket. When you are driving along the road next to the beach, you will see the resort at the end of the stretch. You will recognise it as our nearest neighbour is 1.2km away.
