About Kinabalu Rose Cabin

We are in Sabah, Malaysia (North Borneo). A place with beaches, islands, mountains, jungles, caves and wildlife. You will surely be intrigued by our numerous attractions. However our main attraction is Mount Kinabalu (4095 metres), the highest mountain in South East Asia. Mount Kinabalu is part of Kinabalu Park which is a paradise for naturalists, botanists and mountaineers. Kinabalu Rose Cabin is situated just nearby Mount Kinabalu, only 2 minutes ride. We are about 1½ - 2 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu (Sabah`s state capital). This is the perfect destination for you, whether it is for holiday or adventure.

· Every room has private toilet, hot shower and colour TV · Spectacular view of Mount Kinabalu. · We also have an excellent Restaurant: KRC Restaurant serves a mixture of local and western cuisine. Vegetarian and special dietary requirement meals are available upon request. We do not serve pork. Opens daily from 7.30am to 9.30pm

How To get There

From Kota Kinabalu International Airport: Taxis will cost in the region of MYR 70-150 and will take around 120 minutes (please take the taxi with the yellow roof, they are cheaper for travelling long distance).

From Kota Kinabalu city: Long distance taxi (yellow roof) takes approx 90 minutes. It costs MYR 15 per person but you have to wait for it to fill up. Otherwise, charter the whole taxi for MYR 60 per trip.

By express bus: Express bus from Kota Kinabalu city to Kundasang will cost MYR 10 each way (tell the driver to drop you off in front of our hotel, we are just by the main road). >>> We can also arrange for transportation to pick you up and deliver you straight to the hotel.
