12 years ago, aided by a powerful wind in our sails, we set off into the world until we dropped our anchor in the middle of Berlin. On board we have everything to quench a traveller´s desire: cozy cabins, clean bathrooms, a fully-equipped galley for self-catering, laundry facilities & of course a spacious main deck where hard-working sailors prepare a rustic breakfast and where one can meet fellow passengers or keep contact with those landlovers at home. For sunny days we recommend our stern-side deck and for stormy skies our board pub. Or you may set off into your own sea-faring adventure: the Odyssee offers the ideal starting point to discover the lighthouses of Berlin: great culture & a phenomenal nightlife! Our friendly crew at the command bridge is available night & day and is always equipped with compass & treasure map to inform you about maneuvers, wheather & swell. So get on board! Things To Do

A bed & free sheets. Towels if you wish. 24h Service. Free Lockers and hot showers. Late AYCE breakfast and check-out (noon). A stylish bar, Restaurant, Pool-billiard, Kicker-Fussball, TV, Internet. ** Always ask for: your free Berlin map, public transport map + tickets, walking tours and free or discounted entry fees for whatever day-and-night time activities. ***We can book Gullivers buses and give you train information.

How To get There

If you arrive by train, get off at the main station east, OSTBAHNHOF, take bus 240 in the direction Storkower Strasse and get off after 4 stops at `gruenberger strasse`, cross the street and have a look for number 23. We´re located in the second backyard.

If your train arrives at Lichtenberg instead of Ostbahnhof: take U5 dir. west to `Frankfurter Tor`, walk into Warschauer Str, then take the first right (Gruenberger 23) for the Odyssee

If you arrive at Zoo or Charlottenburg instead of Ostbahnhof: take the S-Bahn dir. east to Ostbahnhof *** If you´d rather walk 5 minutes than change for the bus at Ostbahnhof, or arrive after midnight when the bus might not run (here`s the timetable: http://www.bvg.de/plan/images/Bus/Bus-240.pdf) , go one more stop on the S-Bahn to WARSCHAUER STR., when you get off, walk the bridge down to the right, take the 4th street to the left (Gruenberger Str.), we`re No 23.

*** A taxi-ride up to 2km (which will do) has a fixed fare of only 3 Euros, ask the driver for `kurzstrecke`
