About Sunflower Hostel

The entrance to the Hostel is on the street corner, so it is easily to find. Sunflower Hostel occupies the ground, first and second floors of a typical four storey Berlin house. All the common facilities are situated on the ground floor, including reception and bar, dining room / breakfast / lounge area, laundry facilities, games & TV room, information stands and book exchange. There are also two wheelchair-friendly rooms on the ground floor. The first and second floors are where most of the beds are, as well as showers and toilets. Separate from the main area in the “Garden-House” are 3 self contained appartments, all with kitchen, bath and toilet facilities.

Things To Do

Besides your bed, you get sheets free of charge. Buffet style breakfast is offered from 8am until noon for 3 Euro. We have a 24h-bar, internet access, a laundromat, TV, kicker-fussball, book swap and various games one can borrow. Apart from that our multilingual staff offers outstanding information on what Berlin is all about.

How To get There

If you happen to arrive by train, get off at the main station east, OSTBAHNHOF, take the S-Bahn one stop direction east to WARSCHAUER STR, get off there, walk the bridge to the right, take the 1st street (Helsingforser Str.) to the left and enjoy the 3 min. walk.

Terms & Conditions

We don’t have any conditions as such, except a “no smoking” and “no drinking” rule in the first and second floors, ie, in or around the dorms. And out of respect for other guests, no noise upstairs. Price-policy-wise we offer each 7th night free of charge.
