About Camden Hall Hostel

Camden Hall Hostel is located on Camden Street, Dublin Village Quarter. We offer affordable and clean accommodation for tourist, students, backpackers and groups of all sizes in a newly refurbished Georgian building.

We have a verity of rooms for you to choose from (Private rooms and dorms). All our rooms are Ensuite. We are 10 minutes walking to Trinity College, Temple bar and all of Dublin major attractions. We are surrounded by numerous cultural, historical and entertainment attractions.

We are in the hub of Dublin's nightlife and close to many clubs and live music venues.

Our friendly and experienced team have great local knowledge and know all the best restaurants, pubs, clubs and tourist activities available in our wonderful city. There is frequent public transport passing our door, including Dublin's newest public transport system 'the Luas Line' and bus 16A going to and from airport.

How To get There

FROM THE AIRPORT:

The cheapest way to The Camden hall Hostel is on the 16A bus from the airport. It will drop you a short walk from the hostel on Camden Street.Camden hall is just across a big hotel called Camden court if you see Tesco you are too far, (1upper Camden St, Dublin 2)€2.20 fare and you will need exact change as no change is not given on Dublin buses. Journey time approximately 50 minutes.

The express Air coach bus provides a 24-hour coach service between Dublin Airport and Dublin city. The Air coach bus stop is directly outside the arrival exit and you can buy a ticket directly from a representative at the airport arrivals stop or from the driver when boarding the Air coach.

This will drop you off at Trinity College a then-minute walk from the hostel. From Trinity walk down Dame Street and take a left on South Great Georges Street. Aungier Street is the continuation of Georges street, and Camden is a continuation from Aungier Street.

TAXIS:

Taxis from the airport cost around €25-€35 and take about 30 minutes depending on the time of day. During rush hour it can take up to 45-50 minutes.

FROM BUS STATION (BUSARUS):

Follow the tramline west toward O’Connell Street – a five-minute walk. From there you can take a 16, 16A from O'Connell Street. Get off the bus on Camden Street near Tesco en Camden court hotel FROM HEUSTON STATION:

Take the number 92 bus to Kildare Street. Walk to the top of Kildare Street until you get to Stephens Green. Turn right and continue until you reach Grafton Street. Follow the Green around to your left and take a right onto York Street. This will bring you out onto Aungier Street. Turn left and walk for another ten minutes (Camden Street is a continuation of Aungier Street).
