About Hostel & Cabañas Ida y Vuelta Camping

Unique, fresh and cozy, the campground is located 80 meters from the main beach and offers backpackers the possibility to sleep on hammocks or beds in small wooden cabañas protected with mosquitoes nets as well as within tents on the soft sand of the garden. Familiar and cheap, it is the perfect spot for people who want to relax and socialize by having all basic comforts such as hot water, electricity and ventilators.

Additional to the communal kitchen, laundry, BBQ grill and toilets; the camping also provides a fully equipped house for rent ideal for families and small groups who desire a bit more privacy.

How To get There

Hostel Ida y Vuelta Camping. Calle Plutarco Elias Calles, Entre Robalo y Chacchi, Holbox Island, Quintana Roo, 77310, Mexico

From Cancun (follow signs on the road): take the free highway 180 (called Merida Libre) or Avenida Lopez Portillo direction Merida, keep right always even when the road separates. At El Ideal turn right to Holbox, direction Kantunilkin, till you arrive in Chiquila’, where the road ends. There take the ferry that will bring you on the other side of the Yalahau lagoon. Once on Holbox follow the yellow road showed on the map.

Terms & Conditions

Reservations are possible and guaranteed with a deposit of 80% in high season and 50% in low season. Wires and bank commission have to be paid by the guest. Respect required within the camping grounds. Reservation and cancellation policies are at the discretion of Ida y Vuelta Camping and can be changed at any time without prior announcement. Pets not allowed.
