This highly textured performance brings to life the Tango, Charleston and Waltz with beautiful vintage costumes and outrageous archival footage from the National Film and Sound Archive.

Coeliac NSW/ACT will host the seventh annual Gluten Free Expo in Sydney at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. A free event for the public, the 2011 Gluten Free Expo will showcase a huge range of gluten free products available to purchase and taste, and will also feature informative talks, seminars and live cooking demonstrations suitable for both the general public and trade professionals.
The Expo will be host to a range of guest speakers and guests, including 2010 MasterChef runner up Callum Hann, who will be giving live cooking demonstrations.

2011 Parkinsons NSW Unity Walk and Fun Run

2011 Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championship

Round 4 of the 2011 Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championship will be held at Eastern Creek International Raceway this July.
The event will play host to Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge, Kumho Tyres V8 Touring Cars, Kerrick Sports Sedan Series, Radical Australia Cup, Commodore Cup, Saloon Cars, Australian Swift Racing Series, Formula 3, Formula Ford and Superkarts.

2012 Australian Junior Athletic Championships

The Australian Junior Championships is the premier athletics event for under 14 - 20 athletes.
The 2012 edition is to be held at Sydney Olympic Park this March.
Athletes can qualify for these championships via two methods:
Any athlete who achieves the entry standard(s) as set out in the Athletics Australia Entry Standards within the qualifying period is automatically qualified for the Championships.
Any athlete who places in the first three at their home State Championships is automatically qualified for the National Championships. This can be at either the State All Schools Championships held before Christmas or at the State Championships conducted by Member Associations post Christmas.

2012 Sydney International Gymnastics Festival
The Sydney International Gymnastics Festival is a four day event designed to promote the benefits of gymnastics to the greater community. It offers an exciting opportunity for teams of all ages from around the world to demonstrate the diversity of the sport.
The event will celebrate a mix of skills and participation in a truly unique way, marking NSW and Australian gymnastics' place in World Gymnastics.
The festival will include performance venues on the beach, teams entertaining the crowds in shopping malls, with workshops on offer for performers and spectators alike.
SIGF will also include a theatre-style gala performance and the opportunity to compete in the National Gym for Life Challenge.
2012 Telstra Premiership
The Manly Sea Eagles triumphed in 2011 but they've got a new coach and a new playing roster and plenty of teams will be out to beat them in 2012.
The reinvigorated Newcastle Knights have bought in premiership winning coach, Wayne Bennett, whilst the South Sydney Rabbitohs will be looking to keep key players Greg Inglis, David Taylor, Roy Asotasi and Sam Burgess on the field and at the top of the table.
With new coach Des Hasler at the helm and a rich club history, the Bulldogs have key players Michael Ennis, Ben Barba, Bryson Goodwin, Dene Halatau and Frank Pritchard all battling it out to make 2012 their year.

The Manly Food and Wine Festival is a ‘Taste of Manly' and is one of Sydney's largest regular community based food and wine festivals occurring on the first weekend in June. Visitors are drawn to the festival by the combination of scenic beach setting and range of quality food and wines on offer.
Manly’s landmark restaurants will once again be showcasing their fine range of international cuisines, from Asia to Europe and back again. A selection of wineries from popular wine producing areas in New South Wales will also offer exclusive ranges of wines.

Australian Baseball League
The Australian Baseball League (ABL) is an Australian initiative supported by Major League Baseball and the Australian Baseball Federation.
The ABL, which commenced in November 2010, features six teams from six capital cities; and showcases elite baseball talent from Australia and around the world. With five series openers being played at the Blacktown Olympic Park which is home to the Sydney Bluesox, this event promises to provide all the action and entertainment required for an ideal summer outing for all Australian families.

Australias Biggest Morning Tea at Trainworks
Trainworks may be a non-profit organisation but the popular attraction will be doing all it can to raise profits on Thursday May 24 when it hosts an 'Australia's Biggest Morning Tea' event, with all profits going to the Australian Cancer Council.
From 10:30am to12:30pm, hot tea and coffee and an amazing high tea spread create a uniquely steamy experience at Trainworks inside the stunning main exhibition building.

The Avalon 2012 Tattoo starts at midday with the Australian Federal Police Pipe Band, NSW Fire and Rescue Band, NSW Ambulance Band, Clan MacLeod Pipe Band, NSW Police Pipe Band, NSW Rural Fire Service Pipe Band and the Royal Australian Navy Big Band Concert. The Guest of Honour will be Governor General of Australia on final confirmation.
The Tattoo will start with a street parade at midday. 305 SQN will be exercising their Freedom of Entry to Pittwater and a March Past.
The conclusion will be Ceremonial Sunset/Beat The Retreat, Lone Piper, Massed Pipes and Drums Finale with Fireworks.

Bankstown Bites Food Festival
Not your average food festival, Bankstown Bites celebrates the area's rich culinary diversity with the event showcasing a mix of gourmet food stalls, cooking demonstrations, celebrity chefs, live entertainment, children's activities and rides.
Now in its eighth year, Bankstown Bites Food Festival also offers the chance for food lovers to discover the flavours of the city by taking one of the many Discovery Food Tours conducted on the day. Bledisloe Cup - Qantas Wallabies vs All Blacks
The most fiercely contested trans-Tasman showdown in sport is back at ANZ Stadium when the Qantas Wallabies take on newly crowned world champions New Zealand as part of The Castrol Edge Rugby Championship and Bledisloe Cup series.

Campbelltown Christmas Carols
Begin the Christmas season by joining the Campbelltown community at the Campbelltown Christmas Carols event.
Celebrate with an evening of song, dance and Christmas spirit with choirs and bands and the lighting of the Campbelltown Christmas Tree. This year's performers will once again be supported by a live band.

Rocky Trail brings Sydney's premier MTB endurance race to Sydney's best race track for an awesome 2012 season finale. The Lennox Street Studios is a thriving community of over 30 artists. The corridors and classrooms of the former school of St Josephs in Newtown is their home.
'Creative Corridors' art fair provides a chance for people to visit the artist's studios and view a large range of drawings, paintings, prints, sculptures, textiles and assemblages. You can meet and talk to the artists, see how and where they work and find out what inspires them.
Thirty artists will be taking part including; Jennie Pry, Ro Cook, April White, Rachel Honnery, Julie Ashcroft, Loris Quantock, Tony Williams, Clyth Hoult, Steven Vella, Robert Silverton, Rita Karagelinian and Malcolm Poole.
Liam Benson: Motherland
Motherland is performance artist Liam Benson's social and political commentary on identity and nationhood and the alliances of monarchy, motherhood and masculinity.
Liam Benson uses queer identity to gently subvert social perceptions of gender, race, culture, sexuality and national identity. He mines the visual language and communication formats of advertising and popular media to document his performances as both still photographs and video for a form of contemporary myth making.
His works are held in significant public and private collections and he was recently awarded the Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award judged by Ben Quilty and the Contemporary Award in the Fishers Ghost Art Award judged by MCA curator Glenn Barkley.

MEFF - Multicultural Eid Festival and Fair 2012
Multicultural Eid Festival and Fair (MEFF) is a showcase of Islamic unity in diversity and Australian multiculturalism in action. A big family event, largest gathering of Muslims in the southern hemisphere, attracting around 30,000 people - Muslims and non-Muslims, families of multicultural backgrounds joined by federal, state and local politicians, community leaders and imams, all together in peace, unity and enjoyment. Rock Wallaby Mountain Bike Enduro
The Rock Wallaby's main act will be a 50 kilometre half marathon mountain bike event, with a support act of a 25 kilometre event with a number of sub-categories within each one.
The course will entail one or two laps taking in a 26 kilometre tour of Appin's great natural terrain - including the renowned singletrack loop which is home track to WMBC which will be uniquely split up by sections of fire trail and never-before-raced singletrack. As is well known with Appin, the riding will be technical in parts and flowy and smooth in others. It will be a challenge to ride the complete loop without dabbing, however it has been designed so as not to be too daunting for the novice rider.

The Wild Women on Top Sydney Coastrek, proudly supporting The Fred Hollows Foundation, is a 50 -100 kilometre team challenge to walk or run the stunning coastlines and iconic foreshores of Sydney Harbour - from Palm Beach to Coogee.
It appeals to both endurance athletes and recreational walkers alike given the 50 kilometre option and the nature of the coastal walk. Teams of four participate, with at least 50 per cent women making up the team. Additionally, The Wild Women on Top Sydney Coastrek raises funds for the incredibly good work of The Fred Hollows Foundation.

UWS Sculpture Award and Exhibition 2012
This is the fifth UWS Sculpture Award and Exhibition which showcases major works by significant Australian artists, some of whom have created sculptures especially for the University's Campbelltown Campus.
The campus landscape - open space, rolling hills, lakes and vegetation - is an ideal setting to display large outdoor sculptures. A diverse range of sculptures have been chosen from abstract steel to kinetic and large figurative pieces.
The UWS Acquisitive Sculpture Award and Exhibition aims to establish closer links between the University and artists, and engage with the community by providing a valuable educational and cultural resource, as well as enhancing the campus environment for teaching and learning.

Your Northern Beaches Expo
Your Northern Beaches Expo comprises five expos in one - all located in the same area - offering entertainment and more than 200 exhibits. Entry and parking are free.
You'll see the Home Show, Camping and Outdoors Expo, All Woman Expo, Retired Life Expo and Pets Expo and can check out the hundreds of displays and shopping bargains on offer.
There will be non-stop live entertainment on each of the three expo stages featuring fashion parades, bands, dance performances and more. The kids will be kept busy with lots of activities including a free jumping castle.
The Community Services Area will contain displays of vehicles and equipment presented by a combination of the community services teams (including fire brigade, police, ambulance) dedicated to helping and protecting you.

Zugubal a NAISDA Production
Zugubal is a breathtaking dance from NAISDA, Australia's premier Indigenous dance college.
Zugubal is a word used by all Torres Strait Islander people to acknowledge the star constellations that determine their travel on both land and sea. This exciting performance will feature a choreographic performance entitled Koiki, by renowned Indigenous choreographer Gail Mabo.
