Friday Wine Down Noosa Springs

Noosa Springs' popular Friday Wine Down Series tees off May 11 and continues August 17 and December 7. The skins competition is a rewarding way for teams of four corporate players to wind down at the end of the week with plenty of bottles of wine to be won at each hole. The best three scores from each team will be tallied at each hole and the winning team will win four bottles of wine. If tied, the prize jackpots until there is a winner. The i am gr8ful 2012 Women's Trans Ocean Golf Challenge - Australia versus New Zealand is a unique ladies amateur golf tournament scheduled to be contested at the Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort and Twin Waters Golf Club located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast next July. This five star ladies golf affair has many excited, and players and their non golfing partners will be accommodated at the luxurious RACV Noosa Resort in a wonderful week of trans ocean rivalry.

Noosa Anaconda Adventure Race

Anaconda Adventure Race - Noosa is the first race of the National Series. A multi discipline off road race consisting of Swim, Paddle, Run and Mountain Bike legs. The event will be staged at the picturesque Main Beach taking in the magnificent Laguna Bay and encompassing the Noosa River and extraordinary hinterland. Do it as a team or do it as an individual - either way you'll have an unforgettable adventure in a sub-tropical paradise. Noosa Festival of Surfing

The Noosa Festival of Surfing is a week long family event that incorporates amateur and Pro longboard surfing plus a range of other surfing disciplines, including Stand Up Paddle, Tandem and Finless. The amateur divisions range from Under 15 Boys and Under 18 Girls through to Over 65 Men. The event also includes surf cultural entertainment for all ages. It is the largest surfing event in the world by competitor numbers.

Noosa International Food and Wine Festival

The Noosa International Food and Wine Festival is considered Australia's premier Food and Wine event, boasting over 180 leading international and national chefs, winemakers, media and restaurateurs. Festival Village experience includes, cooking demonstrations, lifestyle lunches, wine tasting, culinary exhibition, entertainment and more. Other events include Food Trails and degustation dinners. Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival

The Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival will celebrate its 30th Anniversary in 2012! The festival has been Australia’s most popular triathlon for 29 years and sells out within hours of entries opening, drawing 8,500 competitors to the Olympic-distance (1.5 kilometre swim, 40 kilometre cycle, 10 kilometre run) challenge that also lures top professionals. If you think it’s all about triathlon, you’d be absolutely wrong. There’s a week long festival of swimming, cycling and running events for everyone from seven to 80 and upwards. Queensland’s largest sport and lifestyle expo - the Seven Noosa Sport and Lifestyle Expo, corporate/VIP facilities, and serious after party you’ll also need to train for. There are plenty of supporting events on the program include for people of all ages and levels of ability including a tri just for kids, plus loads of entertainment.

Noosa Winter Festival

The Third annual Noosa Winter Festival will take place on the sunny shores of Noosa Heads. The Festival includes a variety of events for participants including the Noosa Blue Water Swim, Noosa Half Marathon, Noosa Century Cycle, Mizuno Noosa 10 kilometre run, the Noosa five kilometre run/walk and the Noosa Paddle.

Queensland B and C Grade Championships

The Calvin Klein B and C Grade Championship November 30 - December 2, 2012 is a three-day competition played over 54 holes of stableford play. It's open to all amateur golfers who have a registered B or C grade handicap. Registration includes three rounds of championship golf, admission to the opening night cocktail party, presentation afternoon and commemorative gift from Calvin Klein.
