High Country Festival & Spring Arts

Mansfield welcomes you to join in the festivities for our fabulous annual festival. There is something for everyone with the vibrant program presenting a diverse range of visual arts, theatre, dance and music. Highlights include the Fireworks extravaganza, Grand parade, Spring Arts Walk, open gardens, floral displays, music and live performances. There will be lots of fun and loads of surprises for kids, art lovers and those wanting a slice of the real High Country. Cup Day brings a fitting finale to an action packed festival program with the ever popular Mansfield Picnic Cup Race meeting. Mansfield Farmers Market

Fresh regional produce - straight from the farmer to you. Fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese, meat, eggs, honey, olive oil and other specialty products. The Mansfield Farmers Market occurs on the fourth Saturday of the month - every month except for January. Speak to the person who grows or produces the food that you eat.

Picnic In The Park

Foodies rejoice! The annual Picnic in the park culinary festival is on again this Labour Day long weekend at the beautiful Mirimbah Park. Located at the base of Mt Buller, Picnic in the Park runs starts at 11 and will feature an excellent array of stallholders from local wineries, breweries, gourmet food producers and eateries. A complimentary bus will ferry picnic-goers from Mt Buller to Mirimbah and back - a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of the accommodation packages on offer on the mountain. Adults and kids alike will be entertained by drumming and music workshops, boules, demonstrations and musicians performing on the main stage and on the banks of the Delatite River. Tour de Flavour

The Tour de Flavour will be a fabulous expose of the best of Victoria's High Country... a weekend of fantastic food and wine, expos, markets and wonderful music. Spend the days sampling the very best of the High Country at Mansfield's very own food and wine expo - Food and Wine on High - musical entertainment, boutique wine and food stalls, cooking demonstrations, creative hands-on "model art", fun for kids and much more. Try one of the challenging ride options of the SCODY High Country Cycle Challenge. If it was easy, it wouldn't be a challenge! If you're not into recreational bike riding, you can race like hell! The Mansfield Mt Buller Cycling Club will host two races over the weekend, with over $6,000 of prize money up for grabs! There really will be something for the whole family at the Tour de Flavour festival!

Upper Goulburn Long Lunch

The Upper Goulburn Winegrowers invite you to their 5th Annual Long Lunch which has become a highlight and should not be missed. Selected chefs from the region will treat you to a delicious four course meal matched to the very best wines from the Upper Goulburn region. Entertainment by Australian Tenor - Blake Fischer will complete this experience. Blake is back in Australia, after a spell in Europe. A multiple prize winner, he has performed internationally in Paris, Scotland, Sweden, South Africa, Salzburg, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, Ireland, as well as at the Sydney Opera House. Equally at home on the Musical Theatre stage he has done Les Miserables, Chess the Musical, My Fair Lady and Showboat.

Upper Goulburn Vintage Celebrations

Purchase a tasting glass and take advantage of the fantastic festival specials. Sample delicacies from boutique and artisan producers, and match wines to the many signature dishes offered by local food providers. Listen to the "The Fem Belling trio who will combine with The Harvey Club Boys. Fem Belling is a celebrated Jazz singer who's accolades are too numerous to mention. She has starred in the Boy from Oz, playing Liza Minnelli, and played leading roles in many other Broadway productions including Cats, Hairspray and many more. Her trio is a family affair and features her father, Howard Belling on keys and her brother Zvi on bass, both celebrated musicians in their own right. The Harvey Club features Mansfield's own celebrated musician, Liam Bradley on vibes, his son Fintan on Trumpet and Rolf Koren on drums. The day will also feature young local Jazz musicians Leif Koren and Matilda Clark, accompanied by young Geelong keyboard player Ollie Tribe who will fill out the day with some memorable tunes" said Susan.
