2012 Kununurra Half Marathon
The Kununurra Half Marathon is a 21.1 kilometre running event open to participants of all abilities. Entry is open to solo competitors, who will individually run 21.1 kilometres. Team entry options are also available to participants wishing to complete half or a quarter of the race distance, as a team of four or in a team of two.
Held in the morning the Kununurra weather is expected to provide perfect running conditions at their coolest time of the year. The emphasis of the event is on participation, with great random prize draws open to all competitors.

Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster
The Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster is a community celebration of the East Kimberley region, highlighting its cultural diversity, stunning landscape and country hospitality. Event highlights include the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience concert featuring Aussie rock legend Jimmy Barnes, Waringarri Corroboree, Bush Tucker Cooking, Comedy Night and the Barramundi Concert. All of this can be experienced in one of the most beautiful regions on earth.

First National Lake Argyle Swim
The Lake Argyle Swim departs from a deep water start at the heart of Lake Argyle and finishes in the spectacular Bamboo Cove near the Lake Argyle Boat Ramp and Resort.
The distance of the race is 10 or 20 kilometres. The event categories for competitors are Solo, Duo (teams of two) or Team (teams of four).
Situated 75 kilometres from the town of Kununurra, Western Australia, Lake Argyle is a freshwater lake located 40 kilometres from the Northern Territory Border and covers 980 square kilometres at normal water levels. Twenty-one times greater in size than Sydney Harbour, Lake Argyle can increase to over 80 times the size of Sydney Harbour when in flood. Long since recognised as one of the most spectacular places to visit in Australia, the Lake Argyle Swim provides experienced swimmers with an unsurpassed outback adventure.

Kimberley Moon Experience
Staged on the banks of the majestic Ord River at the Jim Hughes Amphitheatre, the pinnacle event of the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster, the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience, returns for its twelfth year in 2012. Bring your rug, picnic hamper and esky and enjoy the landscape, the people, and the party under a dazzling Kimberley moon. It will be a full night of entertainment.
