Blue Mountains Country Jamm for Genes
The Carrington Hotel is the venue for what will be the social event of the Blue Mountains calendar, when the cream of Australia's young Country music stars join with some of Australia's finest artists to raise money for Jeans for Genes.
The Blue Mountains has never seen anything like this! Enjoy a full day of the very best in Country music performing live on stage. Combined with this extravaganza is an auction of framed celebrity art jeans, painted by some of Australia's finest artists. You'll be able to bid on jeans donated by the likes of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Smoky Dawson, Kurt Russell, Reba, Phil Kearns and Rai Thistlethwayte.
Everyone is welcome.
Footbeat Festival
The Footbeat Festival is held at TAFE NSW Western Sydney Institute, Blue Mountains College, Wentworth Falls campus, in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.
The Footbeat Festival acknowledges the Darug, Gundungurra, Wanaruah, Wiradjuri, Darkinjung and Tharawal Nations as the traditional owners of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.
The event's mission is to explore, nurture and celebrate World Heritage and the universal values of common heritage of humankind, outstanding natural and cultural places that enrich our lives and illustrate the diversity of the planet and its inhabitants.
Music and celebration will continue for the two full days of the event.

Six Foot Track Marathon
The Six Foot Track is a 45 kilometre footpath stretching across the Blue Mountains from The Explorer's Marked Tree, near Katoomba to Jenolan Caves.
The marathon started in 1984 and follows the length of the entire footpath. It is Australia's fifth largest marathon and by far the largest 100 per cent off-road running event. The race is a fundraiser for the Rural Fire Service and Six Foot Track Heritage Trust.

The North Face 100
The North Face 100 is a 100 kilometre competitive ultra-trail running event in the Blue Mountains open to individuals.
Rated by Dean Karnazes, the Ultra-Marathon Man, as "the toughest 100 kilometres ever done", this is the pinnacle of trail running events in Australia including a spectacular course, over 4,200 metre elevation and a cut-off time of only 28 hours to complete the course.
Belt buckles are awarded for those finishing in less than 14 hours and 20 hours. Test yourself, push your own limits and achieve something to be proud of! For those not quite ready for the total experience, the Marathon Pairs option offers teams of two the possibility to relay the distance at mid-course.

WildEndurance
WildEndurance is a spectacular and challenging 100 kilometre teams-only trail trek in the heart of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. Raising funds and awareness for The Wilderness Society, this event is open to teams of four to six completing the full route or relaying the distance half-way through. With a cut-off time of 48 hours and around 3,800 metres elevation, this course will require both commitment and passion for teams to complete.
