Cooly Rocks On

Cooly Rocks On is a Rock and Roll Nostalgia festival held in Coolangatta and Tweed Heads. Entry is free, with some ticketed events at participating venues. The theme is rock and roll from the 50s and 60s with over 1,000 classic cars and hot rods on display, live bands, nostalgia markets and their very own poodle parade.

The Quicksilver and Roxy Pro attracts the top surfers from around the globe, who compete in some of the best surf waves in the world at the Gold Coast. While primarily based at Snapper Rocks, the competition excitement extends across the Gold Coast, with Kirra, Burleigh Heads, Greenmount and surrounding beaches also being utilized for their world-class surfing conditions.
