The Bunbury Repertory Club presents One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest.
McMurphy believes that by acting a little crazy he won’t be sent to the prison work farm and would escape having to actually work. His plan backfires when he is sent to a mental asylum. Making the best of the situation he proceeds to turn the place upside down with gambling and generally upsetting the order of the place. This is a classic play performed by the Bunbury Repertory Club with both laughter and tears.

For the true fan of good traditional jazz music the choice is simple, because there is only one Dutch Swing College Band.
In the great tradition of the great swing bands like Benny Goodman, the Dorsey brothers Tommy and Jimmy, and Count Basie, the Dutch Swing College Band just keeps on swingin’.

Shaolin Kung Fu
Shaolin Kung Fu presents a dynamic mix of kung fu styles from weaponry using rods, three section staffs, fighting fans, lungchuans, knives and spears to choreographed animal-inspired fight scenes and meditative reflections. Each performance moves seamlessly into the next creating a heady mix of agility, flexibility, stamina and beauty.
Set to an intoxicating soundtrack that mixes traditional Chinese songs with the modern beat of drums and rhythm, the action of Shaolin Kung Fu will have audiences transfixed from the very first beat.
The Big Hoo Haa
In the style of Thank God You’re Here, The Big Hoo Haa! is an interactive show using audience suggestions to create improvised comedy sketches and a unique brand of storytelling. The comedians leave no song unsung, no joke undelivered and no pun unpunished in a mad dash to win the love of the crowd. You don’t have to be over 16 to have a laugh! A special all-ages show is on at 4.30pm suitable for families, students and youths!

The Comedy Suitcase Tour
The Perth International Comedy Festival goes on the road and comes to Bunbury with the Comedy Suitcase Tour.
Bringing laughs to regional Western Australia before the Festival kicks off in Perth, the Comedy Suitcase Tour will take a busload of comedians to Bunbury. Packed full of laughs, chuckles and guffaws, this two and a half hour comedy smorgasbord will have audiences rolling in the aisles.
Upon opening the suitcase, audiences will find one Werzel to kick off proceedings, followed by a John Robertson with his charm and ukulele, as well as the outrageous Mike G from the USA. And, just when you thought the suitcase couldn't possibly hold anything else, internationally-renowned musical trio Tripod have managed to squeeze themselves in to headline the evening, bringing their songs and silliness to the regional stage.
WA Operas simulcast of Opera in the Park, supported by Lotterywest - Bunbury
With the generous support of Lotterywest, for the third year West Australian Opera is sending a live screen simulcast of City of Perth's Opera in the Park to regional centres.
‘The Pearlfishers’ by Georges Bizet will be presented in Supreme Court Gardens, Perth and the event will be simulcast in real time onto a live screen in Bunbury (Graham Bricknell Music Shell). The opera will star Henry Choo and Western Australia’s own stunning Katja Webb. Featuring the West Australian Symphony Orchestra conducted by Brian Castles-Onion and director Stuart Maunder.
All events are free and patrons are encouraged to bring friends and family to picnic under the stars.
