Hoofs2010 Inc Brumby Sanctuary Opening

Hoofs2010 Inc have worked tirelessly for the past two years to save and re-home many of Australia's heritage horses, the Brumbies. They are now ready to open the sanctuary to the public with an open day ceremony, an opening address and entertainment for the family. Come and meet the resident Brumbies and enjoy some great singers and poets for a relaxed afternoon in the paddock, bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and entertainment with the Brumbies.

Riverland Wine and Food Festival

The Riverland Wine and Food Festival is held on the third Saturday in October every year and is the single biggest platform for local wine and food producers to showcase their product. The weekend program boasts a hero event held on the picturesque riverfront at Berri with nine wineries and one local micro brewery; all cleverly complimented by locally inspired menus and live entertainment. Supporting events to the main event begin Thursday evening with the region's premier dinner Chefs of the Murray, winemaking and tasting with local tapas Friday evening, the Riverland Farmers' Market Saturday morning and Sunday's WINE Down program which features intimate events staged at cellar doors and other unique Riverland venues centred on the natural river setting.
