Description
The Ring Road Run is an annual event which is scheduled on the Sunday of the Queen’s Birthday weekend. This long weekend provides people all over Australia the opportunity to visit the Bundaberg region and participate in a running event while enjoying the wonderful activities Bundaberg has to offer – visit Mon Repos Conservation Park, taste test at Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, tour the Bundaberg Rum Distillery, learn history at Hinkler Hall of Aviation and the Bundaberg Railway Museum or just enjoy a lazy day at one of the beaches surrounding the coast of Bundaberg. The Ring Road Run will take advantage of the pristine running foundation along the Bundaberg Ring Road with the start and finish of the race at St Luke’s Anglican School, and you can walk or run - the main idea is to have fun, get some exercise and help raise money for some worthy charities.
