Description
The Ningaloo Whaleshark Festival held by The Ningaloo Whale Shark Committee Inc. has the united aim to present an annual festival celebrating the yearly migration of the Whale Shark. Each year the whalesharks travel to the pristine waters of Ningaloo Reef. Through the promotion of this event, which is attended by great numbers of international, national and Western Australian visitors, the opportunity is given to actively engage in interpretive learning and activities surrounding the whaleshark. The Festival also aims to provide an opportunity for the Exmouth community and the industries and businesses that make up the town an opportunity to showcase themselves to visitors.
