The City of Perth’s month long annual celebration of city restaurants, cafes, bars and food specialty stores has a new name… Eat Drink Perth. Formerly City Food and Wine Month, Eat Drink Perth will be launched on 26 February with the popular event dinner on the dock in Claisebrook Cove. This year’s program will feature over 100 free and ticketed events for food enthusiasts including outdoor events, cooking classes, wine tastings and more. Taking advantage of our evolving urban landscape, Eat Drink Perth events will be staged in restaurants, bars, laneways, riverfronts and the new Northbridge Piazza. Along with the new name comes the emphasis on exploring the city’s intricate spaces. Whether it is Claisebrook Cove’s River Picnic or the Laneway Art and Latte Exhibitions, Eat Drink Perth hopes to encourage people to step outside the kitchen and experience a culinary journey through our capital city.
