The Hervey Bay Seafood Festival celebrates what Hervey Bay is famous for - the abundance and variety of wild caught seafood from the pristine waters of the Fraser Coast. This is the ultimate seafood escape for a weekend on the wild side with local seafood for every occasion captured in a breathtaking array of seafood dishes headlined by the world famous Hervey Bay scallop along with a variety of prawns, whiting, calamari,bug and crab dishes at the festival stalls. Inclusive in the festival is the beachside pop up restaurant Tastes of the Bay seafood long lunch, hosted by Channel 7's Creek to Coast presenter, Executive Chef Andrew Mirosch.
