Make Mother's Day a special celebration in 2010 by joining more than 90,000 people nationwide in the Mother's Day Classic to raise money for breast cancer research. The Mother's Day Classic will be held on Sunday 9 May 2010 in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Geelong, Gold Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney CBD and Parramatta. Plus regional centres across the nation. Take part in the nation's largest Mother's Day event by signing up to walk or run and raise funds to assist national breast cancer research programs. Tribute cards with personal messages allow participants to dedicate their involvement to loved ones. To date, the Mother's Day Classic has raised AUD5.7 million for the National Breast Cancer Foundation's research programs. In 2009 a record number of Australians rallied in support of the event. Families and friends, corporate teams, school and university groups joined more than 90,000 participants across the country to raise funds and celebrate Mother's Day.
