One of Australia's iconic cultural events, Movie Extra Tropfest - the world's largest short film festival is on in February.. This year the Tropfest Signature Item (TSI) is 'KEY'! The TSI is included in each of the films to show that the film has been made specifically for the festival. Movie Extra Tropfest returns for its 19th year in 2011 to national audiences in excess of 150,000. This years festival will be held in Melbourne's Federation Square. An Australian summer is full of sun and surf, but never complete without Movie Extra Tropfest! This February, Australians will once again be treated to the national screening of the world's largest short film festival. Friends, families and film buffs get set to be part of a nationwide audience of over 150,000 who will simultaneously watch the best 16 short films from the competition, the largest and most unique premiere a film could ever have.
