Peddells year round, scheduled jetty-to-jetty ferry service connects Seisia at Cape York with Thursday Island in Torres Strait. Peddells will launch a new passenger vessel in May increasing capacity and further improving comfort and safety. Peddells Thursday Island Tours will guide you around an island that is rich in history, culture and spectacular scenery. Our bus tour visits Green Hill with its sweeping harbour views, historic fortress and local museum plus the Pearlshell Divers monument. On completion of the tour, visit the Peddells Jetty Shop for pearls and gifts, the Gab Titui Cultural Centre or the island's hotels, shops, cafes and restaurant.
