Australian seasons are the opposite of the northern hemisphere - summer
starts in December, autumn in March, winter in June and spring in
September.
So it's prawns on the BBQ down at the beach for Christmas and skiing in
July.
Australia is a great all-year-round location
and although it gets very hot in the north in summer and cold in the south in
winter, you are almost guaranteed to find a spot just right for you any time of
the year.
