| Hobart is mainly a pub town and for the best night out
check out some of the great eateries in the city centre and then head to
North Hobart for the pubs and clubs. Or there is always the West Point
Casino, which has a huge entertainment area, revolving restaurant with
views over Derwent River, numerous bars and nightclubs.
Keep an eye on local the newspaper, Mercury, for a free 'gig guide' which
come out at the end of the week and are a great resource for knowing what to do
and where to go.
Also, ask your VIP hostel staff they're very knowledgeable and will be able to help point you
