	Banff Upper Hot Springs - Experience the relaxation of a naturally hated mineral spring pool in a spectacular mountain setting. The natural mineral-rich water is always hot on frosty winter days with snow swirling about as you soak, or on cool summer evenings with star-studded skies. It`s a rejuventating relaxing average temperature of 40 degrees. A year round mineral spring fed pool is 1.35 metres deep with benches all round. An enlarged island includes a 25cm deep children`s wading area. Facility and pool access designed for everyone`s needs. Gift shop, a 35 seat restaurant and deck side snack bar. Interpretive exhibits indoors. A walk from the hostel to the Springs should take about 45 minutes. However there is a public bus service which stops outside the hostel and s guests off directly outside Banff Upper Hot Springs. The bus fare will cost you CAD$2.00 each way. Hours of operation 8:00am to 10:00pm.

You may wish to log onto www.banffairporter.com to book your airport transfer from the airport to SameSun Backpackers Lodge. The shuttle starts at approx 9:00am and runs until 10:30pm from Calgary International Airport. The shuttle departs every 1 1/2 - 2 hours. The shuttle bus transfer coincides with most arriving flights. The bus ride takes about 2 hours from Banff airport. Rates are CAD$47 one way or CAD$88 return plus GST. You can reserve this in advance or you can simply walk to the Banff Airport Shuttle desk in the arrival terminal. This is a door to door service so guests will be taken directly to the front door of the hostel.
