For anyone
with a love of good food Darwin is the place to go. This city has
really taken advantage of its multiculturalism and has a variety of eateries
to suite every taste. Darwin also has a lively events calendar
with a festival on every month of the year.
Check out the pubs and
clubs in the city centre, there is a good selection of live music and a number
of comedy venues. Get a hold of one of the free weekly 'what's on' guides
usually found in the doorways of cafes and/or bars. Also, the 'Your
Weekend' supplement in the Friday edition of the Northern Territory News
provides all you need to entertainment-wise for the week.
Also,
ask your VIP hostel staff they're very knowledgeable and will be
